Dalyan Köycegiz Sultaniye Termal Spring

It is hard to underestimate the number of people who say they had suffered waist pains, rheumatism and sciatica until they came here. The first of these places is the Sultaniye Thermal Water. The water in the Sultaniye Thermal Spring had been used in the times of the Kaunos people. Later, the Byzantines turned this place into a stopover. The ruins from that period are under the waters of Lake of Köycegiz.

Sultaniye Termal Springs just 4 km to Dalyan but unfortunately no rood from Dalyan to Sultanniye. You have to go by boot. Also posible way by the car if you can drive to around Köycegiz Lake from Dalyan.

The Köycegiz and Dalyan area is protected nationally since 1988 as part of the Koycegiz - Dalyan Special Environmental Protection Area (SPA) by the Ministry of Environment and Forestry. So for a moment not posible to build an bridge to the Dalyan Canal.
